No insecure VNC connection no plain text VNC password I use a real Mac account to remote access using a real Mac app. ![]() The native Screen Sharing app on the Macintosh opens the VNC connection, with the device's name or IP address populated. To use it, I log into Spiceworks on my Mac, go to the device's page, and under the Tools drop down menu, select "Remote Access with VNC". I did **not** enable inbound VNC connections. On my Macs I enabled "Sharing > Remote Management", and added the appropriate administrator account. I changed the Link Title to "Remote Access with VNC" I changed the URL Template to "vnc://#". I installed Scott C's awesome Dynamic Troubleshooting Action Link plugin into Spiceworks. ![]()
